Sex in Committed Relationships
John Gottman, Ph.D notes that a strong friendship is the best predictor of good sex in a long term committed relationship. He has been known to challenge the views of Ester Perel, author of Mating in Captivity. Dr. Gottman challenges Ms. Perel's criticism of "the dreaded flannel nighty", stating that it is still possible to explore beneath the nighty.
